Volcanic
Wonderland – Mud Pools
I have been fascinated by the movement and the patterns at the
volcanic mud pools at Waiotapo (near Rotorua New Zealand).
The mud is boiling hot and randomly blobs up. I tried to catch
the essence of the movement and the subsequent pattern with a series of photos.
The photos below are in no particular order. Taken with a Panasonic DMC-TZ7 Lumix.

Journal Page Experiments
Journal Page Experiments
As an artist I sometimes
find that “one” thing is not always enough. Enough, to express what I think,
feel and want to say.
One thing could be
writing some thoughts in a diary. Another one thing could be to draw or paint a
picture. But if you combine these “one” things, you are bound to end up with
the right thing. It is still debatable if the right thing should be called journaling.
It intrigues me and I have now started a process to find out.
